Dear Reader,

I wrote this story after I discovered the power of gratitude in my own life. I want to help our children understand what gratitude is, and why it’s important to practice it in their lives. We live in a world where it's more important than ever to slow down and appreciate the little things we have to cherish.

The two children in the story represent my own children, Luc and Sophie. Throughout the book they create their own gratitude journal based on some of our favourite family moments. Each page has special meaning and is truly a love story for my family.

Through the cycle of gratitude, we'll see that the more thankful we are for the good things in our lives, the more we will have to be thankful for. And it's the little things that make a big difference.

The simple message and straightforward text makes the concept of gratitude accessible to even our youngest readers. I encourage you to read this story with the children in your life and to create your own gratitude practice together. Writing what you're grateful for in a journal is a great way to start a consistent practice that will create magic in your life!

With gratitude,
